The value of experience simply cannot be overstated. I often hear of people who want to skip steps, hurry hurry hurry, rush to the ‘finish line’ and think that success can come overnight. They rarely succeed. By contrast, those who have someone brave, someone keen to soak up experience and someone willing to enjoy the learning are much more likely to grow and thrive. And importantly, stand the test of time.
The reality is that you need a founder willing to take a risk, learn something new, develop their experience. This week, we have Florence Kennedy founder of Petalon. Florence, and her husband James, personify the attitude of embracing experience.
